Electronic Fund Transfer Service  (some members use for health-related requests)

Optical Character Recognition - machine recognition of printed characters: fonts, typewriter and computer-printed characters.

PDA

Patron-Drive Acquisition. Documents are acquired by the library in response to patrons' direct requests, rather than in response to librarians' view about what patrons are going to need.
