Stephanie Wilson, GST School Library System Coordinator has been nominated as a candidate on the 2011 Ballot for the 2013 Newbery Committee by the American Library Services to Children Nominating Committee. The Newbery Award is given annually for the most distinguished children’s book of the year. The award, named for the 18th century English bookseller John Newbery, has been presented since 1922. Wilson serves on various local, regional, state and national library committees. It is an honor to be considered, as the Committee identified her as an “ideal candidate for this position.” Congratulations and good luck!
