The H.W. Wilson Company has developed WilsonWeb Mobile for users of its databases. The need for this new smartphone interface is driven by a generation of users that are becoming more dependent upon handheld devices for their communication needs. In this session, we will review WilsonWeb Mobile and discuss how to customize it for your library.

Art Suite - Image Databases
Wednesday, March 9 - 11 am

More than 1,600 images have been added to Art Museum Image Gallery from the Farm Security Administration-Office of War Information Collection. Soon other Library of Congress collections will be added. Also, in time for awards season, Wilson has updated Cinema Image Gallery with 6,500 new images from 1,200 movies and television shows, including more than 450 movies new to the database, and with the nominee information for the 2011 Academy Awards. I’ll talk about enhancements to the Wilson Image Databases in this 30 minute session.

Current Issues
Wednesday, March 9 - 3 pm

Inspired by our award-winning Reference Shelf print series, the Current Issues suite provides editor-selected information, compiled by Wilson editors, on a variety of topical subjects. These resources are fun to use for younger researchers and can be accessed on smartphones via WilsonWeb Mobile.

WilsonWeb Retrospective
Tuesday, March 29 - 3 pm

The H.W. Wilson Company has published indexes of periodicals continuously since 1901. Thanks to our digitization of this material, you can now search the acclaimed Wilson indexes back to their inception on WilsonWeb. In this session, a tour of the WilsonWeb Retrospective Collection is provided, with emphasis on its subject coverage, its contents as a historical record for the 20th century, and on the collection-linking options available to subscribers.
