Greetings!

The ALA Conference in Washington, DC to be a great event and South Central Regional Library Council will get you there in comfort and camaraderie! You can chat with colleagues, read, Tweet, or enjoy a DVD while avoiding the stress of driving or other public transportation and parking fees! SCRLC has a tradition of offering snacks—indeed, once again delectable refreshments will be available! We will drop you off and pick you up at the Washington Convention Center.

8:45 am leave Cortland/TC3?
9:45 am leave Ithaca
11:30 am leave Binghamton
5:00 pm drop off at Washington Conference Center

Returning Tuesday, June 29
3:00 pm leave Washington Conference Center
8:00 pm drop off at Binghamton
9:00 pm drop off at Ithaca
9:45 pm drop off at Cortland/TC3
11:00 pm drop off at Syracuse

The round-trip price: $100 per person.

The trip is limited to 39 persons; the deadline for registration is May 21, 2010.

Your reservation will be complete and confirmed when payment has been received by SCRLC.

What are the Departure/Pickup sites? They are currently being identified. Your input is welcome!

Is there parking in Ithaca? Yes--there will be parking available in Ithaca while you are gone. More on that later!

Food? Indeed—Delicious refreshments and beverages will be available on the bus. You can bring your own food, too.

Are there restrooms? Larger buses have restroom facilities. Smaller buses will stop for “bio-breaks.” We expect to take a larger bus.

What if I have to cancel? SCRLC can issues refunds if notification is received prior to June 10.
